Woburn 70 Westford 63Westford scored 4 points in the final 38 seconds of regulation, erasing a 55-51 deficit and forcing overtime, but Woburn led all the way in the extra session with the majority of its 15 points coming at the free throw line.
The stripe was the difference as the No. 6 seed Tanners (14-7) went 22-for-33 to just 4-of-9 for Westford.
Senior center Sean Goodrich led the attack for Westford, which finished 11-10 after a 1-5 start, with 23 points and 5 rebounds.
Tom McArdle added 14 points and 4 boards, Pat Mulroy 13 points and John Turkovich snagged 5 rebounds.

The Westford Acdemy Boy's Basketball team will present it 28th annual "Evening of Roundball" on Thursday, March 17, 2005. The event will begin with a Free Throw and 3-Point contest and then be followed by several different games, including the main event at 8:00: the Alumni vs. Varsity.
