WA Survives Against Wayland
WA (6-1) survived a fierce Wayland (5-2) comeback for a 75-73 win. Westford gave up a 20 point 2nd half lead and watched as Wayland had two opportunities to tie with the game ending. For WA, Alex Haines had a monster night with 22 points, 17 Rebounds with 6 blocks while Peter Lynch added 18 points and 8 Rebounds. Cliff Gallant sparked offensively off the bench adding 10 points (2-3's) while TJ Jann had 14 rebounds with his 7 points.WA OVER AB
WA (7-1 6-0 DCL) defeated AB in a low scoring game, 42-30. Strong defense and poor shooting by both teams kept the score down to 15-9 at the half but Westford erupted for a 17-5 third quarter run to take control.T.J. Jann was top scorer with 13 points, and he added 12 rebounds, while Peter Lynch produced another double-double with 12 points and 10 boards.
Colin Royal added 8 points, 6 assists for the winners. Alex Haines corralled 15 rebounds to go with 6 points, as WA remained tied atop the DCL Large with likewise undefeated Boston Latin.
WA TOPS WESTON
WA defeated Weston, 61-51, in DCL action. Peter Lynch led all scorers with 23 points while TJ Jann added 13. Marc Napolitana and Colin Royal each had 7 points. WA (8-1 7-0 DCL) plays 6-1 Bedford Friday night in a mid-season showdown.BEDFORD OVER WA

WA defeated CC 57-54 to end a two game losing streak. Senior Captain Marc Napolitana led all scorers with 16 points (4-3's) while juniors Alex Haines and Peter Lynch each added 14 points. WA (3-1 DCL Large, 9-3 overall) hosts LS at home on Tuesday.WA QUALIFIES FOR STATE TOURNAMENT
WA defeated LS, 73-64, to qualify for the State Tournament (Division II North). Westford started slow (10-10, 27-25 at half) but outscored LS 22-15 in the 3rd and stayed even with an aggressive LS in the 4th for the win.WA had four players in double figures. Junior forward Peter Lynch was Westford's high scorer with 18 points (all in the 2nd half with 12 rebounds), Senior Captain Marc Napolitana added 17, sophomore TJ Jann had 16 points (14 in the 2nd half with 8 rebounds), while junior center Alex Haines added 12 points (6 rebounds and 5 blocks).
