Bramanti named Varsity Assistant

Chris Bramanti, longtime WA freshmen coach, was recently appointed as Ed Scollan's varsity assistant. Scollan said that "Coach Bramanti will bring a wealth of experience to the varsity program. Over the last several years Chris has been involved in every aspect of the varsity program, from scouting to conducting clinics and practice sessions. I am very excited to have Chris on the varsity bench."

Lowell Spinners/IAABO 95 Holiday Basketball Tournament Pairings Announced

The 2008 Lowell Spinners/IABB0 95 Holiday Basketball Tournament Parings were announced today by tournament director John Rafferty. The 8-team tournament sponsored by the Lowell Spinners and Board #95 will be hosted by UMass Lowell at the updated Costello Gym. The 8 teams include: Chelmsford, Dracut, Lowell, and Pelham, NH in the "Sheehan Bracket" and Acton-Boxborough, Lincoln-Sudbury, Londonderry, and Westford Academy in the "Cavanaugh Bracket". First round action begins on December 27th with Lowell vs. Londonderry (1:00pm), Dracut vs. Lincoln-Sundbury (3:00pm), Pelham vs. Acton-Boxorough (5:00pm) and the 7:00pm nightcap between Chelmsford and Westford Academy.

Pre-Season Meeting

There will be a mandatory meeting for all basketball candidates (Freshmen, Junior Varisty, and Varisty)on November 13, 2008 at 2:00pm in the Lower Cafe.
